Griffin Heat Shield Company’s “Super Hand Cooler” (#1000A) was designed and developed by Paul Griffin. Paul devoted a lifetime to the welding profession. He spent over 60 years as a welder and a welding inspector. Paul began making safety products for welders in the 1970’s.
We are a small family-owned company that has been in business for over thirty years. We have been producing the current design of our “Super Hand Cooler” (#1000A) since 1995 and obtained a design patent (#D404175) on our product in 1999. In 2010 we began manufacturing two new products — the Super Arm Cooler (#2000A), and the Griffin Heat Shield Company Cool Blanket (#3000A). In 2014 we began manufacturing the Griffin Heat Shield Company Tig Finger (#4000A). We added a Welders Kneeling Mat (#5000A) in 2015. We have listened to the demands of the welding market and proudly added innovative new products to our already great lineup of products. We pride ourselves on quality and customer service. Our quality and design is unmatched by the competition. Our products are 100% manufactured in the USA, by American citizens, unlike many of our competitors.
We maintain a constant supply of our products in inventory, ensuring that almost all orders are shipped within one business day. We are able to ship internationally.
